Kate is extremely professional and personable. This was an experience I am grateful to have had and would highly recommend her to anyone desiring change, release and results.
When I volunteered to help Kate as she was working on her Body Code certification, I went in with no expectations. I was not familiar with it, or Body Code work, but I was open to the possibility that I may see some positive effects. Our first session was for Emotion Code and then Body Code sessions followed.
The first block I wanted to focus on with the Emotion Code was weight that was ready to be released. I was amazed how specific the process went, focusing on many specific emotions all around trauma and life changing events that occurred at the age of 22/23. I am currently 45. The Body Code sessions that followed were very enlightening. I am a believer in acupuncture and the way energy moves through and effects our bodies.
Though I struggled with understanding the how of the Emotion Code/Body Code work I did notice specific things after most sessions: a tiredness or fatigue often followed later in the session day or the following day, often very vivid dreams that night followed by a feeling of clarity or change in mindset and often physical changes, such as a release in pain or discomfort or improved sleep. As far as my block with losing weight, I was able to break through a plateau and found my mindset changed and frustrations around it lifted.
Our next focus was stomach issues I had been dealing with. 2019 had been full of loss and major changes, including taking on the role of caregiver so I was not surprised my body was really reacting to these changes and stressors. Kate helped me clear the imbalances related to the stomach issue and they are no longer a concern.
A feeling of “looming depression” was our next focus. Again, I was not surprised given the extreme way my life changed in a short period of time but wanted to get a handle on it as quickly as possible. One very specific “recommendation” that came up within these sessions was the need to return to meditation. It is a tool I have turned to often but had been resistant to it for some reason. I slowly added it back into my daily routine and am very grateful that I have been quite consistent with it for several months now. I went back for a few more sessions with Kate a few months later to deal with sleep issues.
Overall, Kate is extremely professional and personable. She explains things as we move through the sessions. She takes great notes and provides you with a summary of each session. This was an experience I am very grateful to have had and would highly recommend her to anyone desiring change, release and results.
